It's raining cats and dogs when we left the office yesterday (but not as much as today) but that didn't stop us to push our third time to go on food trip last night!
Since we are already hungry, well, I am, We started our night at Ate Fe's. I decided to order Sisig and Lechong Kawali for us because that's the food I've been bragging about at this place.
Lechong Kawali (Php 95.00)
There is really nothing special about their sauce, it is plainly Mang Tomas.
And yes, Mang Tomas really tastes good.
I think it is the way they cook their Lechong Kawali.
Their serving is really good for two (2), but if you are really hungry,
this will be just good for one (1).
Sisig (Php 95.00)
WARNING: If you will order this, make sure to be alert enough to stay
away from it once they bring this to your table.
As in tumatalsik-talsik yung mantika!
And somebody should be brave enough to mix it since they put the egg
straight from the shell to the top of the Sisig.
I've tasted a lot of Sisig since my father is a Kapampangan
and it is, I think, one of their favorite dishes to cook.
That being said, I get to give a verdict to places where I eat Sisig.
And Ate Fe's serves one of the best Sisig's, I must say.
This order can also be good for two (2).
Some of the food that I remember ordering here aside from the two are Chicken Curry, Pansit, and Kaldereta. They all taste good! Ate Fe's actually serve the best of mga lutong bahay na ulam. I think I've got nothing more to comment regarding the taste of their food. BUT, there's indeed a big BUT! They may have the best Sisig and Lechong Kawali in town but they have the worst customer service! For some reasons, kahit ilang beses na akong kumain dito at nagpalit na rin sila ng mga serbidora at cashier, qualification ata talaga nila na dapat masungit o di kaya suplado/suplada. I am not bad-mouthing these people, but unfortunately, I've been hearing the same thoughts with the other customers. Kagabi nga habang kumakain kami, akala namin aawayin na nung kabilang table yung isang serbidora. Inirapan kasi niya nung may ipinasuyo lang siya.
Oh well, a piece of advice when you go to this place, BE PATIENT. Especially if you will request additional sauce, extra rice, etc. Kahit dedmahin or sungitan naman nila kayo, ibibigay pa rin naman nila. And a general advice, HUWAG NA HUWAG mong aawayin ang mga taong nagbibigay o naghahanda ng pagkain mo. Well, unless your food has been served, baka pwede na. LOL.

Next Stop,
Dragon's Breath: S'mores (Php 65.00/4 sticks)
This is the famous order here in Iscreamist.
That Dragon's Breath is the category where in you'll get
to experience smoke to come out of your mouth!
You just have to dip the S'mores for 7 seconds in the Nitrogen (white styrofoam in the photo) and then you have to swallow the whole S'mores right after!
CAUTION: I wonder why they no longer say this caution,
but I am still going to share this. Be careful when you swallow
the whole S'mores because there is really a chance that you
could get a slight burn on your tongue.
Dragon's Breath!
The S'mores's taste is just okay. I think everybody knows that we are
all paying for that Dragon's Breath experience.
